ABOUT THE ROLE:

Breakaway is a fast-growing music and entertainment company in search of a highly motivated Influencer Marketing Manager to support the development, recruitment, and management of Breakaway Music Festival’s influencer strategy.

This role will work across Marketing & Promotional functions, and cross-departmentally, to grow the Breakaway brand and captivate new and diverse audiences.

Responsibilities include supporting the ideation and strategy of influencer marketing campaigns, developing weekly reports, managing post schedules and backend organization, recruiting new prospects, and staying up to date on newest techniques and trends.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, creative individual with a passion for music, festivals, live concerts, and activation campaigning. This individual is responsible for connecting with past, current, and future consumers, with the goal of turning fans into customers and customers into ambassadors. Ultimately turning Breakaway into a content suite that places the brand as a driver of culture, not just a ticket sales mechanism.

The Influencer Marketing Manager will report to the Marketing Director and will work closely with all members of the marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support strategy and execution of influencer marketing plans for brand and all national festivals collaborating closely with internal promotional and social teams.
  • Maintain weekly influencer updates on the marketing calendar and ensure short- and long-term planning is clear with integrated communication to internal team members, ensuring all team members are informed on upcoming initiatives.
  • Manage recruitment and outreach strategy to attract and onboard new prospects while simultaneously maintaining positive and professional relationships with current micro and macro influencers.
  • Facilitate communication with teams of influencer recruiters in each festival market confirming consistent outreach and successful onboarding strategies.
  • Oversee organize, and track weekly content campaigns (Tiktok, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.) and posting schedules, keeping influencers engaged in brand initiatives and reporting on deliverables ensuring all reported influencers are active. This includes 10 Macro Influencer campaigns per market (Must be completed before each event), 300 Active Influencers recruited per market, and weekly recruitment and total post reports per market.
  • Facilitate strategic relationships and deal points when onboarding new members; with the ultimate goals to include driving brand sales, awareness, and meeting performance benchmarks.
  • Oversee outreach, onsite relations and creative content capture strategy in relation to hosting macro influencers onsite brand and festival events, ultimately acting as primary point of contact between brand and influencers and brand partners and influencers.
  • Attend brand and consumer events on behalf of Breakaway with primary goal to build strategic relationships and spread awareness of Breakaway.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of influencer strategy and management experience preferably in a related field such as music, entertainment, or media.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred; qualifiable degrees include Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Knowledge of the music industry, surrounding events, and our Breakaway consumer/fan preferred.
  • Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of influencer marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
  • Interpersonal skills – listens to others, works well in a team environment with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills including written/copy editing and verbal; ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Can prioritize work activities, use time efficiently, and confidently meet deadlines for quick-turn projects.
  • Adaptability – adapts to change in the work environment, manages competing demands and handle frequent changes.
  • Dependability – consistently at work when expected, follows instructions, responds to manager’s instructions.
  • Strong computer skills – including all Microsoft Office software programs.
  • Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays.
