ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in managing accounts payable, supporting financial statement preparation, and assisting with month-end close processes. This role will work closely with our Controller and finance team to ensure smooth financial operations across all festival markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Accounts Payable for artists, vendors, and employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.
  • Assist in month-end close procedures, including journal entries and bank reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Maintain and reconcile expense management systems (Ramp, Expensify, artist payments).
  • Assist in festival settlement close processes, ensuring financial accuracy post-event.
  • Contribute to cash flow forecasting and general ledger maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Experience with expense management systems and accounting software.
  • Strong foundation in Accounts Payable, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with Sage Intacct and Ramp, preferred
  • Experience working in live events, entertainment, or festival finance is a plus.
