We are looking for a talented Full Stack Software Engineer with experience in early stage startups to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our web and mobile applications, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust functionality. If you have a strong product and design sense, can own functionality end-to-end, and are excited about working in a fast-paced startup environment, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full stack web applications using Node.js and React.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our mobile app written in React Native.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to create user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional applications.
• Own the development lifecycle of features from inception through production deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable code while following best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in full stack development with Node.js and React.
• Proven experience in early stage companies, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities.
• Strong product and design sense with the ability to create intuitive user experiences.
• Ability to own functionality end-to-end and drive projects to completion.
• Demonstrated ability to outperform peers with similar years of experience; a “high slope” individual.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to haves

• Experience with AWS cloud platform.
• Knowledge of SQL database design and management.
