About the Role

As one of the early hires to our sales team, you will play a foundational role as an Account Executive in expanding our reach and impact. We are looking for someone who has experience working at the early stage and can help us capitalize on our 2026 growth plan.

Ideally you are familiar with the Corporate Social Responsibility world. Prior experience selling to CFOs, CEOs, CHROs, Heads of CSR, and Chief People Officers across Financial Services and Fortune 500 companies is a plus.

What You'll Do

You will be working alongside and reporting directly to the CEO & Cofounder and responsible for owning and managing the entire sales cycle (from prospecting, to pitch, to product deep dive, to proposal/ negotiation, to closed won). You will be working towards bringing on board 5 new logos per month carrying a quota of $1,200,000 in new ARR for Groundswell.

To achieve the above, we expect you to be exceptional in three critical areas. Mastery of our product and the Groundswell story, building authentic and deep relationships within our ICP; mastery of our category and landscape; and being a thoughtful, creative, hardworking team player.

What You've Done

You have worked at an early stage company. You have spent at least 3-4 years in a SaaS sales role selling deals between $25-250k price point with deal cycles ranging between 60-120 days. You have been a top performer on your team, you can run a repeatable sales motion, you are process oriented, coachable, curious, and have consistently hit quota.

You have experience managing and prioritizing multiple enterprise deals at a time. You have experience starting new conversations with target customers. You have experience collaborating with Sr. Leadership, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product.

You optimize to a consultative and value first sales approach over closing at all costs. You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You build great experiences and lasting relationships through a human first approach to your sales craft.
