You will work directly with the CFO and other senior leadership, serving as the primary execution lead for accounting and operational workflows while supporting finance and fund-related needs as required.
This role is designed for an independent operator who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and takes full ownership of back-office execution.
What You’ll Do
- Own monthly bookkeeping and close processes, including bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries (accruals, payroll, etc.), preparation of monthly financial statements, budget vs actuals schedules and investor reporting.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, vendor onboarding (W-9s), client invoicing, and payment tracking.

- Coordinate with outside legal counsel on contracts, entity management, and document execution; draft and manage standard contractor and employee agreements as needed.
- Coordinate and own the annual tax filings process with external tax providers. Own 1099 preparation, and franchise tax filings; track deadlines and respond to routine tax notices.
- Prepare basic operational and accounting reports to support leadership and external partners; maintain internal trackers, dashboards, and systems as needed.
- Support the CFO with operational reporting, budget tracking, and ad hoc data requests.
- Provide administrative and documentation support for fund-related items at the direction of the CFO.
