Inkwell is seeking a motivated Head of Business Development and Partnerships to join our team. This full-time role is 100% remote. Work hours are Central or East Coast time. NYC metro area preferred, SF or Austin considered.

ROLE
Inkwell is seeking a Head of Business Development and Partnerships to lead business development strategy in North America. We seek an ambitious and energetic person to help us expand our clientele and grow our client portfolio. You will be one of the key points of contact with our customers and drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with prospective and current clients. Success in this role will be demonstrated by your ability to identify, secure, grow, and maintain new business and strategic partner relationships and opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to grow Inkwell’s client base.
Foster business development partnerships aligned with Venture Capital and Private Equity firms.
Work closely with the CEO to cultivate and convert their personal network to clients and partners.
Develop and implement sales strategies, client service, and retention plans, and analyze sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with new clients while maintaining existing client relationships.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients.
Manage business development campaigns.
Collate and maintain client information in the CRM database.
Work closely with staff across Inkwell to implement business development strategies as needed.
Report regularly to the CEO and key stakeholders on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue generation.
As required, draft and present business plans, pitches, presentations, reference material, and other assets.
Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
Attend networking events and conferences.
Act as brand ambassador to Inkwell.
CANDIDATE
Qualifications:
Demonstrated business-to-business (B2B) sales ability with at least five years of experience.
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
Strong organization and project management skills.
Friendly and personable demeanor.
Strong attention to detail and project timelines.
Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions.
Ability to work equally successfully independently and as part of a team.
Mastery of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software, proficiency with CRM software.
Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with the Inkwell team.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or a relevant field.
The base compensation for this role is $125K, plus a very competitive bonus structure.
