ROLE
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fractional CFO to join their team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the company. The ideal candidate will work closely with their executive team to create detailed financial projections, optimize budgeting processes, and enhance overall financial strategy. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain financial models that support business decision-making and strategic planning.
Create accurate financial projections, including cash flow forecasting, P&L analysis, and scenario planning.
Work with the executive team to build and manage the annual budgeting process and long-term strategic financial plans.
Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.
Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between projected and actual financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
Support fundraising efforts by preparing financial reports and presentations for investors and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and financial best practices.
CANDIDATE
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial management, with a strong focus on modeling and projections.
Proven track record of working as a CFO, controller, or in a similar senior finance role.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel) and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly and effectively.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a part-time capacity.
Natural ability to maintain discretion and willingness to work behind the scenes among high profile clients.
Must be willing to undergo a thorough background check.
