Steno is growing! We’re looking for a Principal Recruiter to focus on our industry-leading Go to Market team expansion, as we continue to revolutionize the court reporting industry. On a regular basis you will
- Manage full cycle recruiting for multiple, complex Go to Market requisitions, including for outside sales professionals and sales directors, creating innovative and industry-relevant sourcing strategies and driving engagement to bring the best talent to each role
- Support hiring needs across the business , and lead the design and optimization of recruiting systems and workflows
- Canvas the Court Reporting and Legal Technology industries with effective and consistent sourcing efforts to promote a healthy pipeline of industry talent
- Help design the structure of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and associated workflows and tools, ensuring scalable and efficient processes that support strategic hiring goals.
- Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to define ideal talent acquisition strategies, establish screening criteria, and craft compelling, precise job postings that attract top-tier candidates.
- Elevate Steno’s employer brand across internal and external channels, including social media and industry forums, ensuring a consistently exceptional and thoughtful candidate experience.
- Drive thought leadership in recruiting by analyzing industry trends, market intelligence, and best practices, and implementing innovative, scalable approaches that enhance talent acquisition effectiveness.
- Establish and monitor key recruitment metrics and KPIs, providing actionable insights to leadership, optimizing processes, and continuously improving hiring outcomes.
You’re gonna crush it if
- You bring 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience for Go-To-Market roles, including 2+ years specializing in the legal technology or legal services sector.
- You are a trusted advisor to senior leadership, leveraging exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to drive high-impact talent decisions.
- You have a proven track record of partnering with hiring managers and executives to define hiring strategies, optimize efforts and outreach strategies, and successfully fill complex, hard-to-fill roles.
- You have a strong work ethic - you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves - and you have a bias for action when encountering obstacles or ambiguity
- You are a strategic and innovative thinker, adept at designing and executing creative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent in competitive markets.
- You excel at managing multiple high-priority requisitions simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality or candidate experience.
- You proactively identify and remove obstacles in the hiring process, anticipating challenges and implementing solutions to keep recruitment initiatives on track.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary - $110k - $150k
