About the Job:

If you are an experienced and versatile marketer with the hustle to embrace a growth-stage startup, then this is the role for you. We want someone who can run the gamut from SEO and events to strategic communications and brand development. We need a rockstar to own the marketing and growth functions.

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Location: Fully remote (some travel required)
  • Salary: $90-120k

Company Overview:

Whoosh (www.whoosh.io) is developing modern club operations software to help private clubs manage everything from the course to the clubhouse. We are a B2B vertical SaaS company backed by top-tier VC investors like Craft Ventures and 8VC and are focused on disrupting the golf, racquets, and club industry. Our software streamlines workflows, improves staff communication and enables better hospitality and member experiences.

Where you'll make an impact:

  • Strategy & GTM: We need someone who can own the GTM motion as we expand our offering and enter new markets
  • Marketing Partnerships: Managing our ecosystem of marketing partners, state associations, and key vendors
  • Industry Events: Own all aspects of our major industry events (PGA show, etc.)
  • Communications: Own strategic communications and manage our PR strategy
  • Sales Support & Enablement: Collaborate with our sales team to provide the proper marketing tools and materials to support our sales efforts
  • SEO/SEM & Social: Own the budget, find and manage the right vendors. Lead paid and organic social.
  • Customer Onboarding Support: Develop videos and materials to support the rollout of Whoosh to customers and their members
  • Website & Brand Development: Create customer-facing materials and our manage our web assets

You'll be successful if you have:

  • 3-6 years of experience and in marketing and growth at a high growth company
  • Comfortable managing various agencies and meeting deadlines (PR firms, marketing and branding agencies, events, vendors, etc.)
  • You love golf, sports, payments, vertical SaaS, and are familiar with the club space
  • Familiarity with G-Suite, Hubspot, and other software tools
  • An eye for design and familiarity with Canva, Figma, iMovie, and Loom
  • Comfortable working on new initiatives and owning new projects
  • Proactive self-starter who can devise/plan/execute new marketing initiatives
  • “Get it done” attitude with a passion for building something great


  • 3-6 years of direct marketing and growth experience in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS or startup environment
  • Experience with the B2B and B2B2C marketing tactics
  • MBA and experience in the golf, tennis, and club industries are a plus
